At Last! An Affordable Mercedes G-Wagon

Plenty of people lust after a Mercedes G-Wagon, but we found an affordable option that just might float your boat. Sure, it’s a little unconventional, but for a mere $14,000 it’s also likely within financial reach. And you won’t have to deal with expensive repairs down the road.

This Volkswagen Beetle stretch limo looks like a factory job.

While it looks like a G-Wagon at first glance, discerning eyes will immediately realize the proportions of this ride are off. But this is a good conversion job, taking a golf cart and making it look like the luxury SUV.

Before you automatically turn your nose up at this, know that golf carts have become the cool new thing in a growing number of communities. You might be able to drive this on certain roads where you live, depending on local laws and statutes, so this isn’t just a toy.

In other words, you could be rolling hard in your very own mini G-Wagon.

As far as golf carts go, this thing seems pretty nice. It’s advertised as having just 1,111 miles on it and has a 3500W electric powertrain. The boxy little thing can hit 40 mph, too. On a full charge, it has a driving range of 125 miles.

There are some nice amenities on it. LED headlights and taillights make it easy to spot at night or in inclement weather. Windshield wipers help with being able to see in the rain. Plus it has both air conditioning and a heater so you can enjoy throughout the year.

With Bluetooth you can connect up your phone to play songs, navigate, etc. There are power windows and even a push button ignition, just like in modern cars. The interior actually looks fairly nice and nothing like the carts at your local golf course.

This might be the most affordable G-Wagon you can drive around town, just not on the highway or for off-roading.
