
NEW MEXICO (KRQE) — Outdoor lovers in northern New Mexico are getting new recreational land to enjoy. Bartlett Mesa Ranch, just east of Raton, is being adopted by the Department of Game and Fish.

This makes it the newest conservation area with more than 2,000 acres of land. Sitting at more than 8,000 feet above sea level, the area provides sweeping views, wildlife, and a growing number of public trails.
