Zayn Malik Shares Rare Photo With His and Gigi Hadid's Daughter Khai

It's the little things for Zayn Malik.

The One Direction alum spent some quality time with his and ex Gigi Hadid's daughter Khai, embarking on summer getaway. One photo shared on Instagram Aug. 22 showed Zayn and the 4-year-old watching a monster truck rally from the stands, while beach toys from a fun day out in the sun were pictured in another snapshot.

Shouting out Airbnb for "hosting our stay and the Chef Service," Zayn wrote in the caption, "The beach hookup and food were next level."

But a seaside vacation wasn't the only activity on Zayn's summer to-do list. In July, he and Khai attended a Blackpink concert together. Posting a photo taken from behind the pair at their VIP booth, the 32-year-old wrote on Instagram Story, “Me & Khai loved it.”

And Khai has certainly taken after his passion for music. As Zayn told The Zach Sang Show in May, "She's not expert-level, but she's got a bit of rhythm when she's hitting the drums and stuff."

"You can tell that she could definitely develop that into something," he continued, adding that Khai may have also " got that from her mom" since Gigi is "really good at Guitar Hero on the drums."

“'Cause I was diabolical at it and G used to beat me all the time," Zayn quipped of his ex, who he split with in 2021 after six years of dating on and off. "I'm the musician and she beat me at this game!"

And for Gigi, it's important for her and Zayn to have an amicable co-parenting dynamic.

"Zayn and I do our custody schedules months in advance,” the model shared in a March interview with Vogue. “That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t change here and there, but we help each other out and have each other’s backs."

The former couple are adamant on maintaining Khai's privacy, so much so that they have never posted a photo of her face on social media.

"At the end of the day, we’re not interested in giving everyone our whole story," she said. “What we are interested in is raising our daughter together. With so much respect for each other, and not just as co-parents, but what we’ve been through together.”
