Getting into college is no easy feat, especially if you're aiming for some of Georgia’s most competitive schools.
A new list from education data site Niche ranks the hardest colleges to get into in the state, and it’s no surprise that some of Georgia’s most prestigious institutions top the list.

The acceptance rate at Emory is 11%, according to Niche, with the state average being 53%.
What is the hardest college to get into in America?
According to the report, Minerva University, in San Francisco, is the hardest college to get into in the nation, with an acceptance rate of 4%.
How are Niche rankings determined?
"Statistics obtained from the U.S. Department of Education represent the most recent data available, as self-reported by the colleges," Niche wrote. "Niche also collects data directly from schools via our school data update form."
