kaulig racing named anchor team for ram’s return to nascar

Ram has chosen their dancing partner for the brand's return to NASCAR, pairing with Kaulig Racing to run up to five trucks in the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Ram and Kaulig Racing announced to media members at a Daytona Beach area Ram dealership that the two would partner, but no drivers were announced for the five new truck seats.

Kaulig Racing, in 2025, has fielded five teams, two in Cup driven by Ty Dillon in the No. 10 and AJ Allmendinger in the No. 16, and three in Xfinity, Daniel Dye (No. 10), Christian Eckes No. 16 and revolving drivers in the No. 11. These five entries have combined for 29 wins in the last seven seasons.

While Dodge and Stellantis haven't made any announcements about returning to the Cup or Xfinity, soon to be O'Reilly's series, Kaulig's established teams are a good place to look if the deal is expanded. Kaulig currently runs Chevrolets in both series.

"This partnership represents far more than a new chapter in Kaulig Racing’s history; it’s a union of shared values," said Matt Kaulig, owner of Kaulig Racing. "Over the past decade, our team has built a legacy rooted in performance, integrity, and giving back to the community. To now join forces as the anchor team for Ram’s return to NASCAR is both an honor and a responsibility. Together, we’re ready to set a new standard on race day and in the impact we make off the track."

Ram left the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2016, and they left the Cup series in 2012 with a walk-off championship won by Brad Keselowski.
