Kaulig Racing will carry the Ram banner into the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Ram and Kaulig officials today ended one of the bigger mysteries in NASCAR when it was announced that Kaulig Racing will become the anchor factory team for Ram in the Truck Series next year.
The manufacturers' entrance into the Truck Series was formally announced at Michigan International Speedway on June 8. That announcement came with it more questions than answers as Ram officials were non-committal as to whether Ram's NASCAR effort would be as a new factory team or an existing Truck Series team changing manufacturers.
Turns out the new deal will involve a Kaulig Racing operation that has been in the Xfinity Series since 2016. Kaulig has been a full-time, tw0-car team in Cup since 2022. It fields three Xfinity Series entries this year.
The Kaulig Racing effort in NASCAR trucks could involve as many as five trucks in 2026.
This will be the first Ram-branded factory-supported team in NASCAR since 2012.
"This partnership represents far more than a new chapter in Kaulig Racing’s history, it’s a union of shared values,” said Matt Kaulig, owner of Kaulig Racing. “Over the past decade, our team has built a legacy rooted in performance, integrity, and giving back to the community. To now join forces as the anchor team for Ram’s return to NASCAR is both an honor and a responsibility. Together, we’re ready to set a new standard on race day and in the impact we make off the track.”
Added RAM CEO Tim Kuniskis, "We needed a partner that truly aligns with the Ram brand and embraces our unconventional approach to NASCAR. With Kaulig Racing, we found the perfect synergy to drive our ’Last Tenth’ culture forward."
