The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are waiving rookie safety Shilo Sanders on Sunday, per multiple reports. Sanders agents, Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey, told ESPN's Adam Schefter that they are hoping he will get claimed on waivers.
The move comes one day after Sanders was ejected from the Buccaneers' preseason game against the Buffalo Bills for taking a swing at Bills tight end Zach Davidson.
Sanders, son of Colorado coach and NFL legend Deion Sanders and brother of rookie Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders, went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft. Shilo, like his brother, played at Colorado under his father prior to the draft.
