Ohio State Marion has hired Carlyn Bower as a case manager in its Counseling and Wellness Center.

Bower recently completed an internship in a similar role at the center as part of her master's program, according to a community announcement.

She will serve students at Ohio State Marion and Marion Technical College, connecting them to mental health and wellness services on and off campus.

“I am excited to be able to connect with more students and to be able to come up with creative new ideas for the campus and the Counseling and Wellness department,” Bower said in the announcement.

Bower graduated from Miami University in December 2022 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and recently earned a master's degree in social work from Ohio State.

A Marion native, Bower graduated from Pleasant High School. In her spare time, she enjoys journaling, painting and spending time with family and friends.
