SOUTHWICK — A single-car crash on Mort Vining Road has left at least three out of the four teenage occupants seriously injured, according to police.

Southwick Police Sgt. Thomas Krutka said that emergency services were called to Mort Vining Road for the crash at about 1:45 a.m., Tuesday.

He said the car left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

The four teenagers, all from Connecticut, were between the ages of 17 and 18, he said.

Three of them were trapped inside the car, Krutka said.

“They save those kids’ lives,” he said about Officers Brad Fisk, Matthew Olsen, and Nicholas Beauchemin who responded with EMS.

Krutka said the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office would release any additional information.

A spokesperson for Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni confirmed it is investigating the crash.
