Liberty Common High School was ranked No. 2 in Colorado on U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 list of the best high schools, and four other Poudre School District schools were also ranked among the top 100 in the state.
The rankings are based on measures that include standardized test scores to assess math, science and reading proficiency and graduation rates, among others, the publication reported.
Liberty Common, a public charter school in PSD with 357 students in grades 9-12, was No. 173 in the national rankings with a reported graduation rate of 97% and a 73.4 score out of a possible 100 for graduates’ college readiness.
It was No. 2 in Colorado behind D’Evelyn, an “option school” in the Jefferson County School District available to all students through school choice. D’Evelyn, which is located in Denver, was the only Colorado school to make U.S. News & World Report’s top 100 nationally, coming in at No. 53.
