NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The “Old Farmer’s Almanac” dropped its fall 2025 forecast, and it predicted that many parts of the United States, especially the western half of the country, will experience a warmer-than-normal autumn this year.
However, a majority of New Mexico appears to be exempt from that, as it is predicted that the state, except for parts of northern and eastern regions, will see cool weather.

As for precipitation, fall across the entire state of New Mexico is expected to be dry.
Much of the United States, from California to Florida and up to Maine, should be prepared for below-average rainfall. However, certain areas, such as the High Plains and the Pacific Northwest, should keep their umbrellas handy, according to the predictions.
