Tom Hartley Jnr completes sale of Mansour Ojjeh’s 20-car McLaren collection, including final F1 built, to a single buyer.

Tom Hartley Jnr has announced the successful sale of the late Mansour Ojjeh’s extraordinary McLaren collection, one of the most remarkable ensembles of supercars ever assembled. The deal, finalized with a single anonymous buyer, ensures that the collection will remain intact as a historic tribute to Ojjeh’s vision and McLaren’s legacy.

Ojjeh, the influential businessman and long-time McLaren shareholder, curated 20 McLaren supercars over decades, each representing the final chassis of its respective model. The cars are presented in near-factory condition, many remaining unused, making the collection an unprecedented showcase of provenance and exclusivity.

At its center is the final McLaren F1 ever built, finished in a bespoke shade of “Yquem,” later renamed “Mansour Orange” in his honor. Surrounding it are icons of McLaren’s modern supercar era, including the P1 GTR, Speedtail, Sabre, Elva, and multiple Senna variants. Collectively, the group is regarded as the most comprehensive McLaren supercar collection in existence.

The sale follows another headline-making transaction managed by Tom Hartley Jnr earlier this year—the transfer of Bernie Ecclestone’s collection of 69 Formula 1 cars, sold to Mark Mateschitz, son of Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz.

Though the sale price of Ojjeh’s McLaren collection remains undisclosed, Hartley confirmed that record-breaking offers were made for the McLaren F1 alone. Still, both the Ojjeh family and Hartley insisted that the cars be sold as a complete set, preserving Ojjeh’s legacy as a devoted custodian of McLaren’s history.

“This is not just a sale – it is the important and respectful transfer of a legacy,” Hartley said. “The Mansour Ojjeh collection represents the very best of what McLaren stands for – innovation, individuality, quality, and excellence.”

The transaction underscores Hartley’s role as one of the foremost brokers of rare and historic automobiles, entrusted with sales of global significance.
