Dad directing daughter on KTVQ - KTVQ
Hailey Monaco has joined Billings, Montana CBS affiliate KTVQ as co-anchor of the morning news.
Her father, Rob Monaco, has been directing the morning newscast for roughly 30 years.
"I enjoy going to bed early," Hailey Monaco said. "I think it's kind of a thing of my childhood growing up.”
"Yes, I've always wanted to do this,” she said. “From the moment I'd come in and see all the TV screens with my dad when I was just visiting.”
Rob Monaco started working at KTVQ in 1986, when he was 22 years old. Hailey started working at the station as a reporter after graduating from the University of Montana.
"There are no words that can even begin…" Rob Monaco said. "She's just blossomed into this amazing… amazing woman."
