The woman knocked unconscious during a viral Downtown fight says the man who struck her was arrested near Atlanta yesterday.

Holly, who has requested her last name be withheld due to threats she has been receiving, said she has been told Patrick Rosemond is the man who struck her during the violent July 26 brawl.

A social media clip from the fight at Fourth and Elm streets shows a man punching Holly to the ground, leaving her lying motionless until someone comes and helps her back up.

Rosemond, 38, was arrested in Fulton County, Georgia on Aug. 4 with the help of an FBI task force based out of Atlanta, according to Cincinnati police spokesman Lt. Jonathan Cunningham.

Fulton County jail records show he was still in custody in Georgia as of 1 p.m. Aug. 5.

The extradition process to bring Rosemond back to Cincinnati is underway. A spokeswoman with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office said Rosemond waived his extradition hearing, and an order allowing Ohio authorities to get him will be sent Aug. 5.

Rosemond has prior convictions in Hamilton County dating back to at least 2005 when he was convicted of cocaine trafficking. He also has a weapons conviction from 2013. More recent court documents list an address in Reading.

Rosemond joins Montianez Merriweather, 34; Jermaine Matthews, 39; Dekyra Vernon, 24; and Dominique Kittle, 37, as those who have been charged in connection with the July 26 fight near the corner of Fourth and Elm streets. Police are still looking for one remaining suspect.

Holly, a single mother of a 5-year-old girl, told The Enquirer in an interview she has suffered severe head trauma and a concussion from the fight. She is unsure whether the incident has left her with long-term injuries.

"I don't feel any anger or hatred about what happened. They should serve time in jail, but I'm praying for them," Holly said of the people who hit her. "I hope they learn to control their rage and change their lives."

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police with information at 513-352-3040.
