It's almost that time of year when empty storefronts transform into Halloween headquarters, and since many big retailers closed locations throughout New York state recently, there are even more options for a Spirit Halloween takeover this year.
Spirit Halloween stores offer a little bit of everything for the spooky season, from costumes and face paint to accessories and decorations. More than 70 stores are expected to open throughout the state this year, beginning in August, according to the company's website.
"For more than four decades, Spirit has created immersive and interactive experiences for shoppers, complete with a unique and vast assortment of costumes and accessories for infants, toddlers, children, 'tweens, teens, and adults, along with exclusive décor and animatronics you won't find anywhere else," the company's website states.
