1 of just 29 Ferrari 599XX examples with Evo package and one of few in U.S., hits RM Monterey auction.
One of the rarest and most advanced track-focused Ferraris ever built is headed to auction this August at RM Sotheby’s Monterey sale, from GT Motor Cars inventory. The 2010 Ferrari 599XX Evo—one of just 29 produced globally and among the few ever brought to U.S. soil—will offer an exceptionally limited opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

This highly exclusive example is one of the even rarer units equipped with Ferrari’s factory Evolution Package, a $250,000 upgrade that transformed the already formidable 599XX into a fully active aerodynamic machine. The Evo system includes a Drag Reduction System (DRS) with active rear flaps capable of delivering up to 925 pounds of downforce under full aero.
Powered by a 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12, the 599XX Evo delivers 740 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 516 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm, all sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential paddle-shift transmission derived from Ferrari’s Formula One technology. Weighing just 2,965 pounds, this example delivers extreme performance in a lightweight, carbon-laden chassis.

Finished in Rosso Fuoco, the car has traveled just 8,945 kilometers since new, with only 1,000 kilometers logged since a full cosmetic and mechanical factory restoration in 2019. It also includes both original Ferrari flight cases and is eligible for entry into the exclusive Ferrari XX Program—an elite, invitation-only track experience for owners of these rare machines.

1 of the few on U.S. Soil.
This may be one of the only opportunities to obtain one of the XX cars on U.S. soil with the new tariffs as these cars are less than 25 years old
For sale at RM Auction in Monterey
Unlike many XX cars that remain stored at Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters, this 599XX Evo can be privately owned, transported, and run independently at track events or concours across the globe. It’s already a Cavallino 2025 major award recipient, further affirming its presentation quality.

With modern import restrictions and steep tariffs applying to vehicles under 25 years old, this may be one of the last opportunities to obtain an XX car like this stateside, especially as demand surges for these special-series models.
