Jeep released the first image of the freshened 2026 Grand Wagoneer that arrives later this year.
The three-row SUV features a refashioned front end that bears the Jeep badge rather than the name of the vehicle, which is what previous models did when Jeep was trying to establish a Wagoneer sub-brand. It’s expected to get a hybridized variant with extended-range technology.
Jeep is expected to drop the Wagoneer nameplate for 2026 and will market only a Grand Wagoneer variant, sources said.
The latest Grand Wagoneer is part of a product onslaught from Jeep in 2025 that includes several new, redesigned and freshened models. The electric Wagoneer S debuted in January, and it will be joined by the next-generation Cherokee, a freshened Grand Cherokee and the electric Recon by the end of the year.

Brand future product timelines
Jeep CEO Bob Broderdorf said Aug. 7 that the updated Grand Wagoneer “will blow customers away with more power, more tech, new style and more value, and it will proudly wear the Jeep badging later this fall.”
Broderdorf said the brand is in a pivotal moment.
“We are protecting our core enthusiast products, keeping them fresh and more competitive,” Broderdorf said during a media briefing. “The flagship Jeep Grand Wagoneer will shake up the segment. We have an incredible new Grand Cherokee coming to remain America’s most-awarded SUV.”
Broderdorf said the off-road-focused Recon will be the brand’s first “trail-rated” EV and will be sold globally. It will be produced in Toluca, Mexico.
“Recon will show the innovation that the Jeep brand team is capable of, while bringing a whole new audience and customer base to the brand.”
