Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have big little mandates for their kids if they want to get into the family business.
In fact, according to the Oscar winner and the country music star's 17-year-old daughter Sunday Rose, "There are two big rules."
"The first was that I couldn’t explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16," she told Nylon in an interview published Aug. 6, "and the second is that school always has to come first, which at first I hated, but I am actually really glad that I have these rules in place because it keeps me in a good mindset."
That's why Sunday Rose has plans to further her education on top of pursuing a modeling career.
"I have several interests that I am interested in exploring in college," she shared. "Filmmaking has actually been my dream career since I was 5, so I hope I’m able to study that in college."

Besides, the teen—who made her runway debut at Paris Fashion Week in 2024—wants to carve out her own path and not be defined by her famous parents. As she put it, "When people my age meet me, they normally don’t know anything about my life, which is sort of wonderful because I am able to make a first impression based on who I am and not who my family is."
So, what is Nicole's opinion on all of this?
"Incredibly proud and supportive," the Big Little Lies star—who also shares 14-year-old daughter Faith Margaret with Keith—told E! News in October, explaining that her role when it comes to Sunday Rose's career is "just being a mom."
Nicole, 58, continued, "I'm trying to give her her own space."
As for Keith, he's happy to see his daughter take the reins on her own future.
"At the end of the day, anything that any of us choose to do involves an enormous amount of work," he told E! News that same month. "So, go get in the trenches and start paying the dues."
