While professional car hunter and dealer Dennis Collins is famous for rescuing clunkers, he’s also a big Ferrari guy. One of his rides from Maranello he’s never shown off until recently is his 1988 Ferrari Testarossa. The car is red and beautiful and could become yours, if you put in the high bid.
This first gen Camaro is faster than it looks.
That’s right, the thing is being auctioned off right now on Bring A Trailer. Collins of course made a YouTube video to promote the sale, because the guy is great at promoting his own stuff. But a beauty like this doesn’t need much hype.
The exterior looks immaculate, as does the tan leather interior. Before you start wondering if Collins did anything other than just detail the Ferrari, he openly admits he paid professionals to go through it thoroughly, including doing dry ice treatments to clean off corrosion, which are always so satisfying to watch.
From the detailed photos and video we’ve seen, every nook and cranny of this Ferrari looks about as brand new as you could possibly expect.
In addition, the mechanicals should be in great condition after a full servicing of the engine outside of the vehicle. This thing is ready to rock and roll.
Considering how hot Testarossas are these days, plus the celebrity ownership of this particular example, we expect the final bid to sit at a good amount when the dust settles in four days. Currently, the high bid is at $106,000.
