If you’re not afraid of getting your hands dirty, this junkyard in Tennessee is loaded with some great classic cars for sale. Sure, none of them are going to be turnkey rides, so you’ll have to get some solid tools for the garage, roll up your sleeves, and get to work. But these vehicles have a lot of potential.
Check out this C3 Corvette just parked and left in the woods.
Located in Rogersville, so not exactly in the middle of a big metropolitan, this guy has quite the stash of cool classic cars. With the exception of a few sitting on his lot, which is shielded from prying eyes on the main road, everything is for sale.

As the owner ticks off what he’ll sell different rollers for, $1,200, $2,600, etc., it’s apparent the guy is pretty reasonable. Sure, you’ll have to figure out an engine, transmission, and more, but for the price that’s not a bad deal.
Plus, these classics are blank slates, excellent for a restomod build with plenty of power via a crate engine. Maybe you could even find a modern performance ride that’s wrecked but the engine and transmission are still intact, then do a little bit of a surgery.
You’ll have to look closely through all the cars in the junkyard, since the tour doesn’t touch on them all. But among them are second-gen Firebirds and Trans Ams, Chevy Corvairs, Studebakers, Mustangs, and more.
YouTube channel Backyard Barn Finds took a tour of the junkyard and spoke with the guy about his many projects. But in a rare move, in the description for the video, the channel shares the junkyard owner’s contact info. That means you can get in touch with him directly and negotiate the sale of whatever you want.
