MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (WTNH) — At Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, some walk in to roll high and others come to fly high with their Highflyer Zipline.
Since the attraction’s opening, the zipline has had Connecticut residents talking, as it’s a perfect experience for the adrenaline seekers and bucket list checkers.

“I’ve been ziplining before, this has always been on my list but I’ve never done it 30 floors up and over this length of distance so I’m looking forward to a thrill ride!” Michael Bies said.
What makes this attraction such a thrill ride is its size, taking off 35 floors up off of Fox Tower, leaving riders flying 4,000 feet across the Connecticut woods below.
Riders also have an option of purchasing a ticket add on which allows them to try to throw a beanbag during their trip into a cornhole board down below for the chance to win $300.

As one of the longest ziplines in the state, team members say its enough to entice just about any member of the family.
“The youngest I’ve flown was 5 years old, the oldest was a 99-year-old woman and then we get all sorts of people in between,” Alex Hessami said.
Twins Sophia and Aubrey Funk said after eyeing the zipline for about a year, the ride was well worth the wait.
“It was good, it was good scenery,” Aubrey said. “I was honestly expecting a little more fear, I guess I was just like a little nervous, but once you get going you’re kinda just cruisin'” Sophia added.
