New Dodge Hellcats Spotted On Car Transport

An alert driver just outside Detroit, Michigan recently spotted a car carrier laden with new Dodge Hellcats. Even more interesting, the cars weren’t the current-gen Chargers, but instead were the old Chargers and Challengers everyone has grown to love. That has really mystified people.

Ram could face legal consequences for Bucking Hemi theft claim.

But the photos don’t confuse us in the least and only confirm what we’ve been told Dodge is planning. That’s right, big changes are coming to the popular Mopar brand as a course correction is in motion.

With Dodge sales completely deflated, Stellantis has swallowed its pride and is finally listening to American executives about what to do. One of the big things they’ve pushed for is to bring the old Challengers and Chargers back, including the Scat Packs and Hellcats.

Like how there was the Ram 1500 Classic for sale for years, these muscle cars will be offered for sale alongside the new Charger, both in two- and four-door configurations.

It’s a type of peace offering to enthusiasts after Dodge turned its back on them. While there was plenty of propaganda spread by useful idiot automotive influencers about how great the new Charger Sixpacks are, the reality is Dodge knows it has to bring the Hemi V8s back in force.

We’ve also been told the Hemi V8s will be used in the new Chargers, but we wonder if that’s taking a little more time to get the combination right. One thing Dodge doesn’t have a lot of these days is time since it’s already wasted plenty.

Another thing we’ve been told is Dodge is cooking up a new more affordable muscle car that will have a Hemi V8 and that isn’t a Charger. There are whispers it will be called the Barracuda or ‘Cuda, but we’ve been hearing that sort of thing for well over a decade, so we’re taking that with a grain of salt.

Far more serious are the rumblings that the Dodge Viper is coming back, only this time with a more affordable offering at one end and a downright exotic version at the other. It would take on the Corvette for the crown as America’s favorite sports car.
