  • Vauxhall is rolling out a digital Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo Concept to Gran Turismo 7 this fall.

  • This all-electric hyper hatch packs two motors and makes a combined 800 hp from a pair of 476-hp electric motors.

  • This digital concept will sprint to 62 mph in 2.0 seconds and runs out of steam at 199 mph.

Whenever there is a concept car with a wild spec sheet, the most natural urge is to want a test drive. Unfortunately for most concepts, those performance metrics are centered more on hopes and dreams, and less rooted in reality.

Fortunately, those wild spec sheets can be recreated digitally, like the Vauxhall Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo concept for the gaming universe.

You Can Drive It, Kind Of

Like other Vision Gran Turismo concepts before it, this Vauxhall Corsa GSE VGT is almost too radical for reality.

The battery-electric concept packs a 476-hp electric motor at each axle, which the company says is good for a combined 800 hp. Feeding this motor array is an 82-kWh battery pack.

Vauxhall says this Corsa can sprint to 62 mph in two seconds flat, and you’ll be able to climb to 199 mph before running out of steam. There’s also a push-to-pass feature that unlocks an extra 80 hp for four seconds.

The hard-to-miss aerodynamic package makes this hatchback look more like it’s ready for flight than a racetrack. As you’d expect from a VGT concept, this aero is also active, which should help while you’re charging down the straight of the Tokyo Expressway.

Vauxhall says this whole package will weigh a cool 1,170 kg, or 2,579 pounds. That means this featherweight EV, with all-wheel-drive grip, could be a fun addition to your digital collection.

That’s right, you can add the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo to your stable of virtual cars this fall. If you don’t have Gran Turismo 7 and still want to see the Corsa GSE, you can visit the 2025 IAA Mobility show in Munich, Germany, on September 8.
