Nichols Cars used the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance to make its official U.S. debut, unveiling the production-ready N1A sports car in August. The event marked a milestone for the new British marque, which confirmed that the first customer cars are already under construction.

The lightweight N1A, shown in ICON 88 specification, weighs just 900 kilograms and takes direct inspiration from the Can-Am racers of the 1960s. Its design blends motorsport heritage with modern engineering, utilizing cutting-edge materials to deliver a purist’s performance car that nods to history while embracing current technology.
Nichols Cars founder Steve Nichols, best known for his Formula 1 engineering background, has described the N1A as a celebration of motorsport’s golden era with the benefit of contemporary build quality. The ICON 88 launch edition serves as the first production specification, setting the tone for a model range intended to appeal to collectors and drivers seeking exclusivity and race-bred performance.

The Pebble Beach debut underscores the N1A’s positioning as more than just a niche track special. With production now underway, Nichols Cars is signaling to the U.S. market that its vision of a lightweight, heritage-inspired supercar is becoming a reality.
