  • The Chrysler Pacifica Grizzly Peak concept lifts the Pacifica minivan 2.75 inches in the rear and 2.5 inches in the front and puts it on a set of 31-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires.

  • Chrysler will debut the Pacifica Grizzly Peak at Overland Expo Mountain West.

  • The Chrysler Pacifica Grizzly Peak is based on a Limited AWD Chrysler Pacifica.

Hellcat Pacifica fans, there’s some good news. No, Chrysler hasn’t yet stuffed the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi into its flagship minivan, but Chrysler is showing off a modified Pacifica at Overland Expo Mountain West.

Dubbed the Pacifica Grizzly Peak, this more rugged Pacifica could take your family even further up the logging road or even through the trails.

A Big Lift

The folks at Chrysler gave the Pacifica Grizzly Peak a healthy 2.5-inch lift in the front and a 2.75-inch lift in the rear. This lift makes space for the 31 inches of BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires that support this Pacifica. Those KO2 tires surround a set of 18-inch Foreshadow wheels.

While the lift and the larger tires might be the most obvious modifications to the Pacifica, there is also a set of Mopar splash guards to keep the folks behind you happy, a roof-mounted light kit, and a roof-mounted ARB retractable awning.

A set of Baja Design fog lamp pods, paint protection on the lower body, and a roof storage rack round out the major exterior additions.

Inside, the Pacifica Grizzly Peak ditches the third row and replaces it with a large cargo floor panel for storing your necessities out in the wilderness.

This Pacifica Grizzly Peak still retains the underfloor storage for the third row, which makes a great place to store muddy clothes. This concept also shows off Mopar-branded stackable totes, a newly available space saver spare, and a Mopar roadside first-aid kit.

Of course, this Grizzly Peak is just a concept. Don’t expect this current generation of Pacifica minivan to roll out an overland-inspired model anytime soon.

The fact that Chrysler is still investing in these concepts could mean the company will finally roll out a Pacifica Hellcat concept—we can dream.

If you want to see this Pacifica Grizzly Peak in person, you’ll have to head to the Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, Colorado, on August 22-24.

Do you think Chrysler will roll out any more concept versions before the next-generation van arrives? Tell us your thoughts below.
