COLUMBIA, S.C. (WBTW) — University of South Carolina officials say reports of an active shooter at its Columbia campus near the Thomas Cooper Library have been cleared.
Campus officials said through an internal alert system there was “no evidence” of a gunman. Police are searching buildings and people are asked to shelter in place.
