Man beaten, slashed by three men in Lower Manhattan: NYPD

LOWER MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are searching for three suspects after a 24-year-old man was beaten and slashed in Lower Manhattan Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened around 3:35 p.m. at the southwest corner of East 8th Street and Cooper Square, according to the NYPD.

The three suspects allegedly approached the victim and snatched his iPhone from his hand.

When the victim tried to get his phone back, the three punched him multiple times and slashed his left hand with a knife, police say.

The suspects then fled on bikes, heading east on East 8th Street.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.

The NYPD released the following photos of two of the suspects.
