First becoming a sensation on the Star Trek TV series, William Shatner is no stranger to the finer things in life. With this vast wealth and fame, it’s interesting that the man gravitated to an elegant but understated ride: his 2011 Porsche Panamera Turbo.
Bubba Wallace plays victim after massive Daytona crash.
Instead of being painted or wrapped something flashy, the four-door Porsche is instead just a classic black with a black interior. In other words, it looks like so many others out there, blending in as much a Panamera Turbo can.
Of course, this ride is no performance slouch. With a twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8 supplying plenty of power, plus a seven-speed automatic transmission, it can move like a cheetah in heat. Anyone who’s had the privilege of experiencing the legendary powertrain knows what it’s all about.

Plus, Shatner’s Porsche comes with all-wheel drive for plenty of grip in the turns, even when the weather gets a little dicey. One might say it’s great for going where man has never before.
Back when it first debuted, the Panamera was a little controversial. After all, Porsche had never made a sedan before. Not everyone loved the styling on the car, either. But the movie and TV star obviously fell in love.
Shatner ordered this vehicle with plenty of options, so it has aged well. Plus, the man was conservative with his use, the odometer showing only 39,897 miles. That helps to explain why the exterior and interior both look fantastic.

Even better, this Porsche Panamera will be up for grabs when it crosses the auction block this fall. Adding to its collectability is the celebrity’s own signature on the driver’s sun visor, helping to establish his pervious ownership.
