Ultra-Rare 2010 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato No. 04 Surfaces on Bring a Trailer

One of the rarest Alfa Romeos ever built is now up for grabs on Bring a Trailer: a 2010 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato, number 04 of only nine road-going examples produced globally. Created to commemorate Alfa Romeo’s centenary and styled by Italian coachbuilder Zagato, this ultra-limited machine rides on a Dodge Viper ACR-X platform and features a hand-shaped carbon-fiber body with unmistakable Zagato curves.

This particular example, finished in metallic dark blue over tan leather, was imported to the U.S. from Europe and currently shows just 1,900 miles. Under the long hood lies an 8.4-liter V10 engine producing 640 horsepower and 605 lb-ft of torque — identical to the Viper ACR-X that forms its backbone. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed Tremec manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Design elements nod to Alfa’s historic TZ and TZ2 racers, including a Kamm-tail rear, “double bubble” roofline, and scudetto grille. Built by Zagato’s team in Italy, this one-of-nine Stradale features Brembo brakes, StopTech rotors, Viper-sourced suspension, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires wrapped around signature “phone dial” wheels.

The interior is trimmed in tan and black leather, with embroidered TZ3 Stradale logos, Alpine audio, and air conditioning. A June 2025 service addressed suspension and steering components, recharged the A/C, and included fluid and spark plug changes.

This TZ3, titled as a Dodge Viper in Montana, comes with build photos, leather and paint samples, documentation from Zagato, and a copy of its original Dodge window sticker. Despite minor cosmetic imperfections and a documented rear-end repair in 2011, it remains one of the most exotic Alfa Romeo homologation specials to ever hit the auction block.
