
COLUMBIA, Mo. — A nurse at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia is accused of stealing fentanyl from 133 vials for personal use, police say.
According to court documents, Amanda Woodard, 37, admitted to stealing fentanyl from the hospital from January through May.
Woodard allegedly told authorities she would administer the proper dose of fentanyl to her patients and use a syringe to take the remaining amount from the vial for herself.

According to the hospital, Woodard stole 266 milliliters of the drug from 133 partially used vials between January and May. She has been charged with one count of stealing.
