
PRATTVILLE − An Autauga County woman has been sentenced to 30 years in prison on a child sex charge in which the victim was under the age of 12.
Farren Jill Hudson, 36, pleaded guilty to sodomy charges in the case, court records show. She was sentenced by Circuit Judge Amanda Baxley.
The sentencing came about after a lengthy investigation by Autauga County Sheriff's Office investigators and agents with the State Bureau of Investigation.
The victim testified at the sentencing, said District Attorney CJ Robinson.

"She refuses to be defined (by the abuse)," Robinson said. "She has accomplished so many good things in her life, school and church and is now thriving."
Jason Hudson, Ferren Hudson's husband and co-defendant, also faces charges in the case. He is charged with rape, sodomy, sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12, incest, production of child pornography, and possession of child pornography, court records show, He is set for trial in Prattville the week of Oct. 20, court records show.
