VIRGINIA BEACH — Police on Thursday confirmed a drowning at the Oceanfront.
Police said in a statement to the media officers were dispatched at about 7 a.m. to 16th Street and the Boardwalk responding to a drowning. Authorities confirmed one person — who has not been identified — was dead.
