American Muscle Cars Found Abandoned In The UK

Finding a stash of abandoned muscle cars is always an exciting event, especially when there are Pontiac Trans Ams involved. But when the vehicles in question are located in the UK countryside, we and plenty of other people have questions about why anyone would leave such beautiful machines to rot.

You could become the owner of a racetrack.

After all, American muscle cars are quite rare in the UK. We know some Brits like that fact, believing our performance rides are garish and loud and too large. But there are some Ford Mustangs on the other side of the pond as well as the occasional Camaro. However, Pontiacs are exceptionally rare over there.

But this rather large stash of cars has multiple Pontiacs and other rarities just left out in the middle of nowhere. It’s a strange mystery, for sure.

Our guide, known as The Bearded Explorer on YouTube, takes us around this place in an undisclosed part of the UK and it’s wild. He even sets off an alarm while snooping around.

The guy and his friend gasp when they pull the cover up on an SN95 Mustang which seems ridiculous to Americans, but in the UK they’re quite rare. But right after that they run into a row of just Pontiac Trans Ams as the two joke that the property likely contains half of the country’s supply.

They also find a third gen Camaro Z28

Supposedly, the owner of this amazing collection died a few years ago. The son, who inherited all of it, lives north in Scotland and apparently doesn’t care to do something with the cars.

Not all the impressive rides stashed away are from the US. There’s a nice red Ferrari F355 Berlinetta under one of the weathered car covers and it looks fantastic.

There are also plenty of ho-hum European vehicles scattered around the property like Vauxhals and Land Rovers.

Sneaking around private property like this to have a look at what appear to be abandoned cars sure seems like fun, but it’s risky. We don’t recommend doing it since in most areas you can face legal consequences if caught.
