Alaska Airlines announced new daily nonstop flights between Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and Eugene Airport (EUG) July 31.
The flights will begin Oct. 26. Flight times are subject to change but will initially be 9:13 a.m. to 11:38 a.m. (Burbank to Eugene), and 12:18 p.m. to 2:42 p.m. (Eugene to Burbank).
“The addition of service to Hollywood Burbank Airport provides more nonstop travel options for the people in our region,” Eugene Airport Director Cathryn Stephens, A.A.E., said in a press release. “We have a strong partnership with Alaska Airlines and are excited for their addition of flights between EUG and BUR.”
This is Alaska's fifth nonstop destination from Eugene. The new route is one of seven Alaska plans to add between late October and early January connecting cities in California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
The flights will use the Embraer 175 aircraft, which includes 76 seats with no middle seat, onboard entertainment, wi-fi, and power outlets in first class.

Tickets are now available for purchase online at alaskaairlines.com. The cheapest flights are $69.
Alaska recently took four of the 10 spots on the Register-Guard's list of flights under $100 leaving Eugene. The new route will offer a second cheap option to Burbank for those who want to avoid flying with Avelo Airlines.
