
The Wisconsin State Patrol arrested a suspected 61-year-old man for driving under the influence on Aug. 2. This would be his 7th offense.
According to officials, Wisconsin State Patrol stopped Eric C Ewing of Cameron at the Interstate 39 and I-90 southbound near Janesville for speeding and not having proper registration. The police performed the Standardized Field Sobriety Test on him after noticing signs that he might be intoxicated.
After the initial test, the patrol arrested him for drinking and driving. Ewing was booked into the Rock County Jail after a blood draw. If charged it would include a 7th offense for driving under the influence and operating while having his license revoked.
