A bunch of gearheads having a meet in the mountains by Los Angeles were shocked when Jay Leno rolled up in his new Mustang GTD. After all, even living in Southern California, you probably don’t expect someone famous to show up to a rather chill meet at a somewhat remote location.

Out of all the celebrities, Jay Leno might be one of the more down-to-earth examples out there. That might be why he just saw a group of cool cars and decided to roll up and check it out. Video shared by YouTube channel Speedster404 shows just how casually Leno pulls up.
At first, the cameraman exclaims because he instantly recognizes someone with the exclusive new Ford has arrived. There aren’t many GTDs out there, so just seeing one is a big deal.
But then he and others spot the driver, Jay Leno, and a crowd quickly forms around the vehicle. Like we’ve always seen from the comedian, he’s friendly and talks with his adoring fans like they’re his equals.
He asks if people are having fun and if there have been any accidents. You can tell everyone is more than a little starstruck.
Just as suddenly as he appeared, Leno took off again, his Mustang GTD singing a symphony as it accelerates up the winding canyon road.
Some car sites have claimed the cat meet was for Toyota Supras only. We guess if you write everything using AI, the program will just see Supras in the background of part of the video, then draw dumb conclusions.
But there are other types of vehicles in the mountain parking lot, like Lamborghinis and BMWs. Yes, the majority of the rides were Supras.
