ZION, Ill. (WTVO) — The body of a missing Wisconsin teen was found in Illinois Beach State Park waters on July 25, according to authorities.
14-year-old Kyle Williams, of Milwaukee, reportedly disappeared in Lake Michigan when he went under water near the beach on July 22nd.
The three-day-long search came to an end when officers found his body near the northern area of the beach at 7:30 a.m.
Lake County Coroner’s Office reported that Williams died due to drowning.
Illinois Department of Natural Resources Conservation Police and the Coroner’s Office are still investigating the incident.
