PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Hubbard man faces multiple charges after allegedly setting a fire inside an Oregon City church on Saturday evening.
Malachi Samuel Kercher was arrested at the Zion Mennonite Church after police and fire crews rushed to the scene to handle the fire.

The 20-year-old was arraigned for first-degree arson, second-degree burglary and criminal mischief. Kercher’s bail is set at $200,000.
At this time, it’s not clear how much damage the church suffered.
