An aggressively modified 1985 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is set to cross the auction block at the upcoming Sandusky Summer Classic, bringing bold styling, performance upgrades, and everyday drivability to one of Chevrolet’s most iconic SUVs.

Finished in striking red, this full-size 4x4 Blazer has been customized with a host of mechanical and cosmetic enhancements. Under the hood, it’s powered by a 5.7-liter (350ci) V8 engine equipped with mild performance cylinder heads, upgraded camshaft, and an aftermarket intake system. A Turbo 400 automatic transmission handles shifting duties, and the addition of a Sidewinder shifter adds a sporty edge to its rugged personality.

According to the consignor, this K5 Blazer “runs and drives excellent,” and that claim is backed by thoughtful updates such as power steering, an electric cooling fan, and custom exhaust. Power seats and a retrofitted CD player boost comfort inside the cabin, while aftermarket gauges and custom lighting round out the modernized interior touches.
