DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — After assisting Texas in its search and recovery after historic flooding earlier this month, the members of Ohio Task Force 1 will be coming home Monday.
Two K-9 search specialists and their dogs, as well as a search team manager, were mobilized on July 11, a week after deadly flooding tore through the region of Kerrville, Texas, on July 4.
Four more K-9 search specialists and their dogs were mobilized July 18 to assist with FEMA’s search and rescue.
All seven people and six dogs are expected back at the OH-TF1 warehouse shortly after noon.
