FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Thursday morning!

Patchy to dense fog has settled in for most of Central Ohio for the start of the day. As we head through Thursday, both the fog and the skies will try to clear out from yesterday’s cold front.

Fog shouldn’t last more than an hour or two after sunrise. We’ll see a few clouds linger through the morning. The middle of today will look sunnier, but clouds and an isolated shower or two pop back in for the afternoon and evening. Temperatures today are already back on the warming trend, climbing to the upper 80s.

We have more sunshine going into Friday. The thermometer is climbing just under 90 degrees. But, dewpoints are slipping down a little bit so we should be feeling just a little more comfortable.

The heat builds into the weekend. Temperatures are in the lower 90s for Saturday and Sunday with Sunday being the hottest. Humidity creeps up as well, so we’re feeling much hotter by the end of the weekend.

It’s still hot for the start of next week, but skies will see increasing clouds build in. Our next best chance for rain pops up Tuesday going into Wednesday. We’ll see a pretty solid cooldown come with those showers. We’re sitting down in the mid 80s for Wednesday.
