
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — People who are trying to reach emergency dispatchers across the Buckeye state might be having a difficult time.
The Darke County Sheriff’s Office reported Brightspeed, a service provider, is experiencing an outage with the 911 system in Ohio.

According to the sheriff’s office, 911 calls are being sent to its business line. To speak with a dispatcher, you are asked to immediately press 1.
Brightspeed is currently working to remediate the issue.
