Massive fire after explosion at Louisiana business

ROSELAND, La., (NewsNation) — A supply plant has exploded in Louisiana, triggering evacuations for anyone living within one mile of the blast.

The evacuations are underway in Roseland, which is located about an hour and a half north of New Orleans.

Photos from the scene show flames and massive clouds of dark smoke rising from the business.

Tangipahoa Parish Government officials ordered a mandatory evacuation of a 1-mile radius of the intersection of Highway 51 and Highway 10.

No injuries have been reported so far.
