Kristen Doute isn't quite ready to be intimate again after giving birth to her little one
The Valley star spoke with PEOPLE and shared that she hasn't been feeling "physically or mentally" ready
Doute welcomed her baby daughter Kaia in June
Kristen Doute is admitting that she's not quite ready to be intimate again after giving birth to her baby daughter.
The reality TV star, 42, attended the At Home with Narwhal event in Los Angeles on Thursday, Aug. 21 and spoke with PEOPLE about life after having her baby daughter, Kaia, whom she welcomed in June with fiancé Luke Broderick.
As she spoke about the transition into motherhood, Doute shared that she and her fiancé have yet to get spicy since she gave birth. "We're not yet, but I have a lot of promises," Doute tells PEOPLE. "I really want to have the craziest sex with my fiancé. I'm just not there yet physically and mentally."

Elsewhere in the interview, Doute shares what surprised her the most about becoming a mom — especially after watching her friends go through parenthood. "Oh my God. Everything," she admits.
"I feel like there are a million things that people don't tell you. I think there's a lot of talk about pregnancy, but I think pregnancy at this point is really obvious. You just figure out what you're going through," she says.
"I think the fourth trimester postpartum is the hardest in so many different ways, physically, mentally, emotionally," Doute continues. "And just all of your feelings and your body images. It's really been... I don't want to say it's difficult, but it is. It's hard. It's gnarly."
Back in June, Doute shared photos of her baby's nursery and spoke with PEOPLE about how she was feeling ahead of welcoming her little one. "I am very ready," she admitted. "I'm not going to lie, and I think it's important for moms to not sugar coat anything. I am physically miserable."
"She says all the time that she feels 'large and in charge,' " Broderick, 34, said. "She's very aware of her body at this moment."
At the time, The Valley star shared that there was something she was a little anxious about. "I would say I'm the most anxious about actually giving birth, just what the experience will be," she said. "You can have a plan, but there really isn't a plan at the end of the day. It's all up to her."
Doute added, "I would say I'm the most excited about no longer being pregnant! And, as I've said before, just seeing what her personality will be like."
