For Rob Kardashian, being dad to daughter Dream Kardashian is, well, a dream.
"I’m very lucky," the former reality star said on a July episode of sister Khloe Kardashian's podcast Khloe in Wonder Land. "Dream makes it very easy. She’s very smart and she’s a good kid, but it’s still very hard."
Also hard? Knowing what the 8-year-old will want to try next.
“Dream does music. She does ballet, hip-hop, gymnastics," her mom Blac Chyna continued on the Aug. 17 episode of Casual Chaos With Gia Giudice. "I’m like, 'You’re not tired?' And she’s not."
Fans aren’t tired of keeping up with Dream either as she's taken a bigger step into the limelight. Not only did the young star make her runway debut at Zeus and Lexi Kids’ New York Fashion Week show last September—with Chyna noting on social media she’s “so proud of my baby girl”—but she also launched her own Instagram account the day before.
Or rather relaunched. Because as Rob explained about Dream’s account—which, to be clear, is run by her parents—it was first made in 2016 when she was born. And when the elementary schooler reintroduced herself to her now 755,000 followers, he couldn't help but gush—dropping a series of crying emojis and writing, "I love you."

Not that Dream needed an introduction. Ever since her birth—which was filmed for her mom and dad’s 2016 show Rob & Chyna before their split—fans have watched her grow up. She’s appeared on the Kardashians' reality shows and starred in an Amazon Glow ad with her grandma Kris Jenner. And did you hear her song “Besties Do It Better” Chyna posted on Instagram last summer?
"She’s learning different things about herself, and I think that this is just one of the things," the Hearts Pure Cosmetics founder told Entertainment Tonight in 2024. "Dream has many talents. So, this isn’t just, 'Oh, she wants to do music.' She does everything, and she’s just so fun.'"
And fun is what Chyna wants to keep the focus on—adding she’s in no rush for Dream to follow in her parents’ famous footsteps with a career in show business.
“I'm gonna let her do whatever she wants once she's of age," she added to ET last September. "But if it's something that she's into, then I'll support it 100 percent. But the good, luxury part of that is I've been there, done that along with her aunties and her dad. So, she’ll be good if she decides to do that."

Though Chyna and Rob are protective of Dream’s privacy, they have occasionally offered glimpses into her world. Like when the Arthur George sock line founder posted a photo of his daughter celebrating the Los Angeles Dodgers' World Series win in November or shared snaps of her wearing a Lakers uniform for Halloween, noting he "couldn't of been happier" she wanted to dress up as the late Kobe Bryant.
Chyna also uploaded a video of Dream doing the Nicki Minaj stiletto challenge (sans high heels) in July and recently shared a series of mother-daughter selfies, writing, “These are the moments I live for.”
And over the years, the parents have posted photos of Dream's dance recitals, first days of school, time at home with family and birthdays.
"I am so proud of the sweet and smart girl that you are!" Rob wrote in a 2020 post for her 4th birthday. "Thank You for bringing so much Happiness to my Life :) Daddy Loves You."

Of course, Dream has loads of love from her extended family, too—including her Aunt Khloe, who noted on a 2023 episode of The Kardashians that she’s more like a “third parent.”
And while Khloe and Chyna have had their issues in the past—including Chyna filing a defamation lawsuit against her, Kris, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner that the Kardashian-Jenner family won in 2022—KoKo made it clear she didn’t want her comment getting “twisted.”
“Rob is doing the best he can as a parent and in life. Angela is doing the best she can as a parent and in life. I am doing the best I can as a parent in life,” Khloe—who shares daughter True Thompson, 7, and son Tatum Thompson, 3, with ex Tristan Thompson—wrote on Instagram that year. “We are ALL trying to do our best in life. Our children are healthy and happy! Most of all they are LOVED!! LOVED by everyone in our tribe.”
And though some may think “the narrative of 'The Kardashian’s VS Chyna' is more fun to read about,” she continued, “there really is nothing there anymore.”
"We all want to move on from the negativity," Khloe continued. "The focus is on Dream and her happiness and making sure she feels unconditional love at her mommy’s house, her daddy’s house and any family members house for that matter. Please stop pinning us against one another. Life is hard enough."
And Chyna agreed.
“Everything is good on both ends, we are all family at the end of the day,” the Lashed entrepreneur told TMZ around that time. “Robert and myself are co-parenting the best we can and it's all love and positivity.”
This positivity is something Chyna—who also shares son King Cairo Stevenson, 12, with ex Tyga—wants to maintain with both fathers of her children after their ups and downs.
"We have structure," she told Entertainment Tonight in 2024. "I think structure’s key."
