BRANSON WEST, Mo. — Firefighters in Stone County battled a vehicle fire that damaged multiple waste transfer trucks late Sunday night, according to the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District (SSCFPD).

At around 10:45 p.m., SSCFPD fire personnel responded to a reported vehicle fire at the Republic Transfer Station in Branson West, where they found three trucks engulfed in flames.

SSCFPD says they attacked the fire, but the fire was difficult to access at times since the fire was contained inside the transfer trucks. Firefighters were eventually able to put out the fire after using large amounts of water and foam.
