
NEW YORK (PIX11) — Mount Sinai Health System has agreed to a $5.2 million class action settlement after patient information was allegedly leaked on Facebook through the use of tracking tools.
The settlement benefits individuals who logged into their Mount Sinai MyChart accounts between Oct. 27, 2020, and Oct. 27, 2023.
Class members can receive a cash payment. The amount will vary depending on the number of claims filed.
The final approval hearing is scheduled for Oct. 24, 2025. Mount Sinai has not admitted any wrongdoing.
