President Trump signed legislation into law Wednesday afternoon that will establish a permanent partial claims program for veterans seeking federal assistance with housing.
The bill, called the VA Home Loan Program Reform Act, was sponsored by Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.) as an effort to replace the Biden administration’s Veterans Affairs Servicing Purchase program.
The bill signing ceremony from the White House was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. EDT.
