WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A crash has closed lanes on both sides of US 52 in Winston-Salem, causing substantial traffic delays, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department
The crash occurred at around 8 a.m. on Thursday and one lane of traffic is closed on both the northbound and southbound lanes of US 52.
Police are currently investigating the crash and traffic congestion is high as a result of the lane closures.
WSPD provided the following detour instructions:
If traveling south on US-52, drivers can exit at Clemmonsville Road, turn right, and take Main Street south to re-enter US-52 southbound. If traveling north on US-52, drivers can exit at Main Street, turn left, and take Main Street to Clemmonsville Road to re-enter US-52 northbound.
