Job seekers and employers will converge at Globe Life Field on Thursday, August 7, for the 2025 North Texas Job Fair, hosted by Republican Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne.
The event, running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature over 16,000 job openings from more than 400 businesses, ranging from entry-level to executive positions across industries like healthcare, manufacturing, aviation, energy, law enforcement, government, and nonprofits.
The job fair aims to connect North Texans with employment opportunities without political affiliation.
“What we do is we partner with our chambers. We partner with our elected representatives. I don’t care if you are independent, if you are a Democrat, if you are a Republican. We want to help the community. We want people to be able to get jobs, and we want businesses to be able to hire,” Van Duyne told CBS News Texas.
The annual event began in 2021 at the Irving Convention Center, one of the first in-person job fairs in the region post-COVID-19, where many attendees secured job offers or interviews on the spot. Due to growing demand, the fair relocated to Globe Life Field in 2024, hosting over 500 companies and 25,000 job seekers, with more than 20,000 job openings available.
“This is one of the reasons why we are flourishing in North Texas and why so many businesses are moving,” Van Duyne said.
This year’s fair continues to build on that success, with a bipartisan group of elected officials and community partners collaborating to support the event.
